It doesn't turn the deceased into stone. My full embalm that was a dressing 4 days later was still supple and maneuverable. I particularly like the fact the bottles have protective covers under the lid. The Petrichor is also one of my favorite's. Our mortuary was fortunate to trial quite a few Arterial chemicals from Genelyn North America and we have been super impressed with this line of products (especially the Taltex and Ultra Natural). We have been on the hunt for a range of arterials that have less of a harsher dye content and we have found a perfectly balanced warmth that consistently comes through. The Sanigel is a must for autopsies and topical packs where you just need the stuff to stick!!, loving this right now, low ordour and appears to have good penetrating qualities. Looking forward to getting my hands on Moisture Plus, as someone who uses a humectant for numerous applications it will be awesome to have a reliable supplier. So far, so good. Looking forward to trying more of the extensive range.

Traditional embalming chemicals commonly use methanol to stabilise formaldehyde, contributing to harsh fumes and airborne exposure. Genelyn’s proprietary formulations stabilise formaldehyde without added methanol, significantly reducing vapours and odours while maintaining high-performance results.

Reduced Toxicity

Ongoing laboratory testing and field use have produced embalming chemicals that are less toxic and non-flammable, without compromising preservation quality. Genelyn products consistently match or exceed traditional performance standards while reducing exposure risks for embalmers and staff.

Non-Flammable

Many traditional embalming chemicals are classified as flammable Dangerous Goods, increasing storage, transport, and compliance requirements.
